Andrew A. Matthews Restoration specialises in the many varied skills required for the conservation & restoration of antique furniture. Attending the London College of Furniture he graduated with qualifications at City & Guilds Cabinet Making & HND Furniture Restoration & Conservation. Following valuable experience gained in London based workshops Andrew re-located to South Cambridgeshire & established his own business.
Supported by highly experienced freelance craftsmen Andrew is able to undertake all aspects of the profession, many of them exceedingly intricate. These specialists have worked with him for many years and are conversant with his high standards & attention to detail.
Following a visit to appraise the furniture & discuss the customer's requirements a written estimate is prepared detailing the work required, timescale and cost. Typically work is undertaken in the workshop, although working on-site can be arranged.
